Island Magic Beach Resort

Island Magic Resort is a true gem!! We have a wonderful stay here! From reservations to check out it was smooth and relaxing. We stayed 5 days here and enjoyed every single day and night. IM picked us up at the airport and brought us back when we had to depart. The hotel is on the quieter side of the island and so peaceful after a fun filled day. The front desk staff was so helpful and even suggested some of the best places to dine. IM also scheduled excursions for us that were outstanding. The housekeeping ladies are exceptional! Our room was always spotless and helped keep us organized and clutter free. We were in an ocean view room on the 4th floor and the views were fabulous. Please note - there are no elevators here - so if you have mobility issues or bad knees you may need to grab a lower level room. At the lower levels, there is not an ocean view - but pool view - still nice. We had breakfast at the restaurant and bar called The Magic Grill and the staff there was terrific! They knew our names by day two and always started our day off right. The outdoor seating area was so refreshing and the breeze could not be beat. All in all, this resort is a great choice for your vacation to Caye Caulker, BZ. We are already booking there again for next year. Hope to see you there!

We loved our week here! The ocean front king premium room #19 was amazing. We included them booking our flight from mainland and transfer to hotel. The front desk staff, maid service and everyone at the restaurant and bar were fantastic. Food and drinks super good! Easy to charge to room and pay on checkout. Their slogan “come as guests and leave as friends” is very true! They also have another resort on North island you can use facilities at. Very nice, too.

My review would give this a 4.75 star! it was almost perfect! The room was huge, we had room 10. and fit my party of 3 adults (2 adults and 19 year old kid) with room to spare. Bathroom is a bit small, but worked out just fine. The AC blows COLD in this room. it was awesome as it was HOT outdoors. I did appreciate that the ac/mini split was in the bedroom and the bathroom didn't get it. As it made showering/getting ready much more comfortable to us gals. Hubby kept the bathroom door closed for us at night so that we could have a warmer climate in the mornings. keep in mind it's an older place. there is wear and tear but overall its really lovely. The pool was fantastic! They had music going and a really nice time. Happy hour (which runs quite a few hours) CANNOT be beat. Best drinks we had were from our hotel! I will dream about the chicken tacos and coconut shrimp here. The staff are all lovely, but extra thanks to Cordelia and the chef Orissa! Cordelia was all smiles every day and so fun! She got our crazy American humor and we had a blast! We had one small hiccup w/a golf cart rental, and the hotel DID offer us a solution of getting 2 carts for 4 people at no additional cost (we were party of 5), we did decline as we wanted a 6 seater so that our group stayed together/could talk/coordinate better. We were able to find that and enjoyed our island ride. We had a meal and some drinks on the ocean front deck/swinging chairs and it was so lovely! While there we did run into a group of women, one making a snarky remark about this place not being "luxury", Please realize where you are. For Cay caulker, it's as luxury as you are going to get on the South side and they go above and beyond in all other aspects that not having a luxury room is a okay! you spend most of your time out of it anyways! We did visit the North side sister propery (the island magic villas) WOW! blown away. ocean front, AMAZING pool, Great dining too and wonderful friendly staff. We were able to tour an open unit and it was gorgeous and that luxury feel. we may split stay next time! overall loved this stay! thanks Island Magic!

Very spacious room. Beautiful views. Excellent location to center of everything. I only wish the showerhead was better. After a day of salt water in your hair, the low pressure was hard to shower with. It also was spraying all around the shower. Aside from that, comfy bed & pillows & the accommodations in the room are perfect.

Really nice rooms. It had a nice view of the ocean too. Restaurant was good and all the staff were friendly. They came every day to clean the floors and make the bed. I enjoyed the included snorkeling and cave tubing tours too. Would recommend!

Very nice, relaxed place to vacation and unwind. The staff is great and very helpful. They had bottled water in our room refrigerator waiting for us. There are outdoor stairs but no elevator. However, the staff quickly carried our bags to our room. The village on Caye Caulker has several good restaurants. The restaurant at the resort was very good with excellent service. We were here for a week and would do it again!
